(Intro Verse)

Standing for a million years

No one knows what brought them here

They just appeared

Out of nowhere

Monoliths!

Reaching up into the sky

Their surface shines and blinds the eye

So revered, yet  feared…

Monoliths!

1. Verse

Monuments of the divine

Solemn statues so sublime

In a time before our time

Their true light shines

Through the darkness

Chorus

Lead Vocal

Now we all stand in awe

(Backgrounds far away)

We all stand in awe

At the power of the monoliths

Made of Rock

Made of Steel

Made of Glass

Made so Real

We’re searching near and far

Searching near and far

For the meaning of the hieroglyphs

For who we are….

Written on the monoliths

Written in the stars!

(Intro Verse)

Standing for a million years

No one knows what brought them here

They just appeared

Out of nowhere

Monoliths!

Reaching up into the sky

Their surface shines and blinds the eye

So revered, yet  feared…

Monoliths!

2. Verse

Messengers of peace

Harbingers of war

For those who hold the keys

The inner sanctum they’ll explore

Chorus

Lead Vocal

Now we all stand in awe

(Backgrounds far away)

We all stand in awe

At the power of the monoliths

Made of Rock

Made of Steel

Made of Glass

Made so Real

We’re searching near and far

Searching near and far

For the meaning of the hieroglyphs

Written on the monoliths

For who we are….

Written in the stars!

Guitar Solo C-Part

Chorus

Now we all stand in awe

(Backgrounds far away)

We all stand in awe

At the power of the monoliths
