Nothingness Chapter 8

Prologue

I walked down the deserted beach toward the ocean. The sky was grey. I felt a small trickle of rain starting to fall. I put up the hood of my jacket and sat down on the black stony pebbles of the beach. I closed my eyes.

My mind went back in time.

1 Verse

Silently the rain keeps falling

Darkened Skies

A raven’s calling

Not a shadow on the ground

My heart’s the only sound

Suddenly my eyes are open

Wide awake

For light I’m hoping

In this God forsaken place

I just long to see your face

1 Bridge

I reach out

Just for a moment there I thought I heard your name

Calling from the shadows just the same

This past keeps haunting me

Now that you’re gone, leaving me here

With faded memories

When I look back at the life that we’ve once shared

Together we lived we loved we cared

So much is gone for good

Believe in you

Oh how I wish I could

1 Chorus

Now I’m staring deep into the void

Into Nothingness you will fall (Hard Answers)

A life that’s slowly being destroyed

Into Nothingness you will fall

So sad the moments passed you by

This cold emotion in your eyes

Just when you start to realize

It’s too late, you fall

Into Nothingness

2 Verse

Honesty

Isn’t just a state of mind

It needs to be around

To withstand the test of time

So quietly

We all fade to grey

Our voices will be silenced

Our passions fade away

2 Bridge

I reach out

Cause I believe

There’s something more

Inside of me

I confess my sins

My sacrifice is right here

Before your eyes

Believe me now

Can you believe somehow?

2 Chorus

Now I’m staring deep into the void

Into Nothingness you will fall

Soul are churning

But Love can’t be destroyed

Into Nothingness you will fall

So sad the moments passed you by

This cold emotion in your eyes

Just when you start to realize

It’s too late, you fall

Into Nothingness
